Playing Up Policy

Background

V/F United's competitive program sponsors travel teams for Girls and Boys U8 to U19.
The travel teams play against similar age and gender teams from other area clubs.
Placement on teams is determined by tryouts conducted by the V/F United club.

V/F United travel teams compete in the RDYSL and Wayne-Finger Lakes leagues. League play goes from the end of May through the end of July, and typically involves twelve game seasons. Additionally, the teams typically participate in three to four outdoor tournaments per summer season.

Travel coaches are given coaching training and many are certified at the 'E' level or greater. Travel coaches must attend regular club coaches meetings as posted in this schedule.
