Well we are off and running on a new outdoor season. All of the indoor preparations have been completed and now it is finally time to get outside and put all the training and planning to the test! As we start our league games and tournaments, let's all keep our attitudes positive and our communication with referees, coaches, and players constructive. RDYSL has instituted a "zero tolerance policy" indicating there should be no dialog with referees whatsoever. In addition, there are financial incentives for the club to stay clear of player control yellow and red cards. So let's all work together to have a season without any incidents and see if we can earn back some money in the process.

Please sign up soon for our summer Future Stars camp. This was sold out last year and we expect it will be again this year. The coaching is second to none; the price is incredibly reasonable; and it's held right at the school. Our new Director of Coaching, Shawn Griffin, will play a strong lead role in our camp. We also will have a strong list of guest coaches joining each day, along with the core that will be there all week. Players last year reported that they learned a lot and had a ton of fun. Please don't wait to sign up!

The club finances continue to recover, thanks to all of your help. We have now recovered almost half of what was lost to CMI. We are back on solid ground and will be ready to resume our normal programming and equipment purchases starting in the Fall. We have been successful at keeping the impact to our players to a minimum, so your diligence in refuting credit card charges has paid off more than we could have hoped. Thank you very much for your understanding, support, and follow-through.

As always, thank your for your support of our club, our programs, and our kids. This is a great community with many opportunities for healthy outlets for our children. We are proud to be part of that fabric and look forward to continued growth and success. Have a great season!

Tim Brown
